Imagine one adult and two young people competing as a team to catch Walleye (Pickerel), winning boats, motors, and  a chance to win trips to Miminiska Lodge plus Walt Disney World. Well it’s true. AYA – Angler Young Angler is an organization that makes this all happen, and selected Wilderness North as the Canadian destination alongside Walt Disney World as the U.S. trip to be awarded to the Grand Prize winner this coming August in Kenora, Ontario. Lund, and their Lund Boat Dealers support the tournaments, awarding the regional winners, with the largest combined weight of three Walleye, who then move on to the August 16th championship. Thunder Bay is the June 28th stop on the twenty event circuit.
