The magic of this park is that it is not accessible by road, visitors must access the park by float plane, train or canoe. This remote area has thousands of kilometers of waterways making the canoeing possibilities endless. When backcountry camping within the park guests must travel with a Wabakimi Park permit, permits are included in guided trip costs.
Approximately 25% of the parks shores are exposed smoothed bedrock, providing idyllic camping opportunities.
