This Thursday (January 14) through Sunday(January 17) is the All Canada Show at Pheasant Run, a northwest suburb of Chicago. We have decided to have a booth at the show this year for a couple of reasons.
The City of Thunder Bay Department of Tourism asked us to join them at the show to help inform travelers of a new airline service with low fares. In his column, Joe Pichey will outline the convenience and savings of traveling on PORTER airlines from Chicago’s Midway Airport to Thunder Bay.
Plus we have another way to help you save even more on a wilderness adventure – by offering you the coupon at the bottom of this newsletter
Our second reason for coming to Chicago is to meet – in person – those guests from the greater Chicago-land area who have chosen Wilderness North for their Canadian adventures for the past two decades – to renew old friendships – and say thank you. Hope to see all of you this weekend.
BTW, this show will mark the official beginning of our sponsorship of Chris Clemmons and partner Bob Hausler for the 2010 Walleye Tournament Trail. They will both be in the booth on Friday, to share their championship walleye angling techniques with you.
Last fall Chris Clemmons and partner Bob Hausler won the Cabela’s National Walleye Team Championship at Devils Lake North Dakota. -$30,000 dollars (US) and a new Ranger Boat.
Chis has been a guest of ours for over a decade, a writer for our guest resource team as well, and now we have to call him MISTER Clemmons… I guess. For 2010, Wilderness North will be the exclusive lodge outfitter sponsor for Chris and Bob on the Walleye Tournament circuit. This Friday Chris and Bob will be in our booth at the All Canada Show at Pheasant Run…from 5 pm til close. Come on out to the show and learn from the pros
So as Frank Sinatra might say…see you in that Tottlin’ Town…Thursday January 14, through Sunday January 17, 2010. –Alan
