The weather is great, the fish are biting, and the blueberries are in season…
While most people wouldn’t associate blueberries with fish or salsa they add a nice element to the subtle taste of the fish and really make the dish pop. The fresh, sweet taste of the blueberries is offset by the heat of the peppers and the bright flavor of the cilantro. To add to the flavor profile, I suggest a nice white wine such as Tramin Pinot Girigo which will complement the meal nicely due to its light fruit flavour. Adding fresh tastes of summer turns an ordinary piece of grilled fish into something that will be the star of your next meal.
