Blackening seasoning Ingredients:
1½ teaspoons paprika
1½ teaspoons smoked paprika
2 teaspoon cayenne
1½ teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon sugar
½ teaspoon ground black pepper
½ teaspoon dried oregano
½ teaspoon dried thyme
Rub a generous amount of blackening seasoning over both sides of the walleye filets
Heat pan over medium-high heat. Add enough oil to just coat the bottom of the pan.
Add fish and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, flipping fish once
Optionally you can cut a lemon and put it on the side to squeeze on the finished walleye
