Discover how easy it is to get away to Northern Ontario at one of our Wilderness Cabins. Enjoy the amenities in your own private cabin on a secluded lake. Spend time exploring the shoreline, paddling the waters, and taking in the beauty of all the wildlife the area has to offer. Our complete Wilderness Cabin packages include access to a motorized boat, canoeing and kayaking experiences. Rest and relaxation is the plan in a cozy remote cabin--imagine a lake all to yourself!
Get creative in the kitchen and take advantage of other Wilderness Cabin activities including outdoor games, hiking, and late-night stargazing.

Days 1 - Arrival and Orientation

Your flight from McKenzie Lake Seaplane base in an iconic bush plane (approx. 40 minutes and 74km as the crow flies) will allow you to take in the scenes of endless waterways and lush forests below.  Settle into your cabin  located in the heart of the Northern Ontario wilderness with assistance from our staff.  Take your time getting familiar with your wilderness surroundings.  Over the next couple days there will be plenty of time to start exploring the waters by motorized boat, canoe, or kayak, or simply walk along the shoreline and see what wildlife you can spot.

Days 2-4 - Time for Peace of Mind and Exploring at Your Own Pace

The days are your own to enjoy however you see fit. Take a canoe out for a leisurely paddle, wander along the shoreline in search of wildlife or swim in the pristine waters. Spend the afternoon on the lake, enjoying our water trampoline or water tubing to cool off

Spend the afternoon picking fresh wild blueberries for a sweet treat. Enjoy the evenings watching scenic sunsets with your bonfire with your local beer/wine & snack package. Take in the scenery while you hike the shoreline and discover wildlife such beavers, birds, moose and bears.

Day 5 - Departure

Enjoy one last leisurely breakfast and get ready for the return flight to McKenzie
