Kansans Have Great Luck at Zig Zag

Lucas Matile, and five of his family members and neighbors travelled from Kansas to Zig Zag for the first time. Like many first timers to the remote North, The Matile group was amazed at the “arm tiring” event called Walleye fishing there. Plentiful – is the word Lucas used to describe his trip. Two Master Anglers emerged at week’s end: Brad Skiles caught a 45-inch Pike on his very first cast of the day, and Randy Skiles registered a 27- inch Walleye. The group had the greatest success trolling in the slow moving current, and in nearby pools.

Congrats on a job well done!
