Clean Hands & Quick Campfires

scott's profile, Wilderness North staffScott Earl Smith, the Canadian Editor for American Fly Fishing Magazine, has written a special article for us and posted it on our website’s download page called An Angler’s Spring Cleaning Project. Scott discusses what you can do NOW, to be prepared for a future trip into the wilderness. Though Scott is an accomplished Fly Angler and guide, his common sense choices of what to carry along on a trip into the boreal forest are applicable to everyone. For example, he says hand sanitizer, which is mostly alcohol, serves to keep your hands clean and germ free, AND works as a great camp fire starter – even in the cold and rain. Hear Scott on this week’s podcast, or read his article on-line.
