This walleye spread recipe is incredibly versatile but also incredibly tasty. It doesn’t matter if you’re making a quick lunch, an appetizer, or even having a picnic, this recipe is a great option. With just a handful of ingredients and minimal prep time, you can whip up this satisfying meal. This recipe can be served on a salad, on top of a piece of bread or even on some crackers. So let’s get into what you need and the method for this recipe.

Ingredients:
Walleye
red onion
celery
1/2 tsp of salt
1/8 tsp of curry powder
1/8 tsp of cayenne
1/2 tsp of lemon juice
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp dill weed
1 tsp lemon pepper

Instructions:

1.  In salted water, boil walleye until cooked, it will float to the top of the pot when it is ready.

2.  Finely chop the red onion and celery; this will be based on the amount of walleye you are using.

3.  Mash the walleye up and combine with the vegetables. Use enough mayo so that the end result resembles a dense-like tuna salad.

4.  Season the mixture with the spice mix above and combine thoroughly

5.  place in a bowl in the fridge and let it chill for a minimum of 15 minutes.

6.  Finally serve up the walleye spread, and drizzle some franks red hot over the spread.
