Congrats to Alan of Michigan, for his big pike out at Whitewater Lake. Tyler’s report has the details of his story. Dan of Ann Arbor, Michigan, was up at the Makokibatan Lodge where he posted his 27 inch walleye, despite the wild and windy conditions this past week. Meryl and Bernard summarize the fishing up on the Albany in their report. Our only report from returning guests at the outpost cabins finds Spike of Minnesota with a 40 inch pike from out at Ogoki Lake.
By now most of you know of our commitment to Project Healing Waters. This past week the five US and five Canadian soldiers all headed back home – some even back to military duty. Again this week, we’re highlighting the life of one our guest soldiers – Diane Cochran of San Antonio, Texas. Listen to her story here. We have also taken the opportunity to share more photos with you from “Healing on The Albany -2009” at Miminiska Lodge.
We are grateful for the cash and “in kind” gifts we have received from so many of you – all of which make it possible for us to salute these brave men and women who have gone into battle to preserve our free and prosperous way of life. You can rest assured we will have another event next July. You may even want to plan your adventurePHW-Lunker to be in camp when the soldiers are here. Our guests tell us how much they enjoyed sharing the time and the waters with each soldier. And the soldiers tell us – in so many ways- how much they value “Healing On The Albany.”
Talk to you next week – and as always feel free to drop me an e-mail here or by phone at 888-465-3474.
