I often get these funny cartons emailed, this one made me laugh. It is a spin on the old proverb (by-the-way it’s not Chinese, but British, from the late 1800’s) and I put my own twist on it too.

“Feed a man a fish and you end up with dirty dishes… teach a man to fish and you’ll get rid of him for a week every year”.

It might seem early to be planning for next year already, but, many people start the planning process now. A couple of our spots are already booked solid for the month of June. Prime dates are going fast, and as most of you diehards know June is one of those primetime’s for our fisheries.

Last year some of my close friends and long-time guests reeled in over 50 trophy Pike and Walleye before June was even half over! With so much excitement and top water action, you don’t want to miss out on getting the jump on the 2014 season. Call me, I would love to chat with you about your fishing experiences and get you started for 2014.
