For those of you who didn’t know,
Starting in February 2013, Wilderness North worked with Anishinaabek Employment and Training Services, Superior Strategies, and the Ontario Tourism Education Corporation to develop a 5 week Remote Line cook Program. Krista stepped out of her role as trip planner and put her culinary degree to work planning weekly practical demonstrations. The program was a huge success and well received by the tourism community, even making it into the Canadian Tourism Human Resources Council’s daily newsletter. Read the full story here.
