An exploration in the heart of Northern Ontario, this adventure takes you deep into the boreal forests stunning landscapes, remarkable wildlife and deep-rooted history of the Ontario wilderness. Imagine flying in over hundreds of Ontario’s pristine lakes and uninhabited islands, on a private plane ride from Thunder Bay, arriving at the doorstep of your own cabin. Miminiska Lodge on picturesque Lake Miminiska is your home base for 4 nights. You’ll sleep comfortably each night in your cozy, Canadian-themed lakefront cabin and have fresh coffee delivered to your room each morning. You’ll savour chef-prepared home-cooked meals and gourmet shore lunches, local craft beer and Ontario wine out on the dock before dinner. You’ll learn to fish, meet local First Nations who will teach you about their way of life, and see Canada the way it was hundreds of years ago. You’ll kayak at sunset, roast marshmallows over a bonfire, and meditate in the silence of the wilderness. Here, you will disconnect from the world to reconnect with yourself and loved ones, and most importantly, the iconic Canadian outdoors.

  • 65-minute flight from Thunder Bay International Airport – easily accessible from all major airports in Canada
  • Main lodge with living room, games room, bar, and pool table is surrounded by 6 cabins
  • Cabin configurations accommodate between 2 and 12 people
  • Choice between private or shared accommodation
  • Complimentary laundry service•Wi-fi access in main lodge
  • No cell phone reception

  • Guided paddling excursions (canoe/kayak) and wildlife viewing
  • Guided fishing programs (lake & river), including night fishing
  • Standup paddling (SUP)
