Part 1: Fly Fishing River Travel
Begin your journey with a flight straight into the action! Guests travel from Armstrong On, by de Havilland floatplane and land at the mouth of a pristine northern brook trout river. To make the most of this fishery guests camp halfway down the river to have the chance at two full days of brook trout action!
Part 2: Wilderness Lodge
After a full-day on the river guests arrive back at the lodge just before dinner to enjoy happy hour before fine dining in the main lodge. Enjoy the amenities of Miminiska Lodge with newly renovated cabins and endless recreational opportunities.
Part 3: Canoe, Camp and Cast
The adventure continues as guests are back on the water for 5 days and 4 nights of high-end, full-guided camping, fishing and canoeing on the Albany River! The Albany River is a pristine waterway and offers the incredible angling you would imagine from a remote northern river. Travelling with Wilderness North guides has its perks; full-days of guided fishing, whitewater canoe guiding, and gourmet wilderness cuisine! We take care of the details so you can enjoy the world-class fishing!
Part 4: Full-Service Lodging
After 5 days of fishing paradise guests are welcome to Makokibatan full-service Lodge for a night of relaxation at another full-service lodge. Guests may use lodge amenities for the evening or take a boat out to experience another remote Canadian lake! The next morning Makokibatan Lake becomes the runway as guests are flown out over the endless boreal forest on their journey home.
