It’s not uncommon to do battle with brook trout in the 6-8 pound range. The best part? They are extremely fly friendly!
Northern Pike – The pike at Miminiska are fish of legend. Extremely aggressive and violent, northern pike are voracious adversaries on fly. With the lodge record taping out at 53 inches, there are numerous master angler fish released each season. These fish may not see flies for multiple seasons, so with nearly zero pressure on the fishery, northern pike are a thrill on fly at Miminiska.
